LAS VEGAS- FERNANDO MENDOZA QB, INDIANA

Funny, huh?
The Raiders have desperately longed for a franchise quarterback recently. Mendoza is as close to the sure thing as this draft is going to get. Las Vegas hopes to have their franchise quarterback for years to come.
NY JETS- ARVELL REESE EDGE, OHIO STATE
With a boatload of first-round picks on the horizon, the Jets will use this pick to give coach Aaron Glenn a physical specimen who can be the mainstay of a defense for a hopefully, improving Jets team.
ARIZONA- FRANCIS MAUIGOA OT, MIAMI
Let's be real, this squad has a lot of holes, but protecting the quarterback (whoever he is) is the most important. New head coach Mike LaFleur will likely select Mauigoa as his franchise bookend on the other side of Paris Johnson Jr.
MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT!
The Tennessee Titans are willing to trade down with Washington for a third and fourth.
WASHINGTON- JEREMIYAH LOVE RB, NOTRE DAME
The Commanders lacked a solid running game in 2025, and it cost them. Love is a great combination of speed, power, elusiveness and able to catch passes for long gains. Jayden Daniels would LOVE this guy. Anyways....
MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT!
NEW ORLEANS- NYG First round pick
NY GIANTS- First round pick, Third round pick, maybe a sixth-round pick
NEW ORLEANS- DAVID BAILEY EDGE, TEXAS TECH
The receiver class is loaded, so the Saints need a punishing defender since their defense has gotten old and slow. Bailey has shot up boards with his combination of size, speed and power.
CLEVELAND- CARNELL TATE WR, OHIO STATE
Whoever the quarterback is, they need some weapons other than Jerry Jeudy. Tate has the size and separation to be a #1 target for Deshaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders.
TENNESSEE- RUEBEN BAIN JR. DE, MIAMI (FL)
Yes, Cam Ward needs receivers, but they need defensive help....badly. Despite concerns about his arms, Bain is clearly the best pass rusher in this class and could benefit from a Robert Saleh coached defense.
NY GIANTS- MONROE FREELING T, GEORGIA
New coach John Harbaugh has a dilemma, there is Andrew Thomas and that's it. Freeling has shot up the boards as many see him as a cornerstone lineman.
KANSAS CITY- MANSOOR DELANE CB, LSU
They just traded Trent McBride for a first-round pick, so they draft a similar type player to be his replacement. Knowing the Chiefs, he could be a Pro Bowler in this system.
CINCINNATI- CALEB DOWNS S, OHIO STATE
Since Jessie Bates III left for Atlanta a few years ago, the Bengals need a playmaker in the safety position. Downs is that and then some. He can transform their secondary just by his presence.
MIAMI- SPENCER FANO T, UTAH
Now with new quarterback Malik Willis and new coach Jeff Hafley, the most important thing is to protect Willis. Fano could be a breath of fresh air for him and the running game.
DALLAS- AKHEEM MESIDOR EDGE, MIAMI (FL)
Dallas need any type of impact on defense. Despite being second billing to Rueben Bain Jr. at Miami, Mesidor is just as disruptive and causes offenses to adjust their blocking to contain him.
MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT!
DALLAS: #13 PICK
LA RAMS: #20 PICK, 3RD ROUND PICK, 3RD ROUND PICK (2027)
DALLAS- SONNY STYLES LB, OHIO STATE
Like I said, Dallas really needs to improve their defense. They are willing to trade up to get the best pure linebacker in this class whose measurements and 40 time has Scouts drooling.
MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT!
CAROLINA: #14 PICK, 4TH ROUND PICK
BALTIMORE: #19 PICK, 3RD ROUND PICK, 6TH ROUND PICK
CAROLINA- KENYON SADIQ TE, OREGON
Carolina drafted Bryce Young his home run threat in Tetairoa McMillan last year, now it's time to draft him his safety value as the Panthers trade up to get the physical specimen of Sadiq.
TAMPA BAY- KELDRIC FAULK EDGE, AUBURN
Tampa is hurting after losing franchise mainstay Lavante David to retirement and need a prospect can hopefully transform into a legitimate game changer. They hope Faulk is that selection.
NY JETS- MAKAI LEMON WR, USC
The Jets use their second first-round pick to address another pass catcher alongside Garrett Wilson. Geno Smith will be happy if Makai is selected....that's right, Geno Smith is the quarterback.
DETROIT- VEGA IOANE OL, PENN STATE
After Taylor Decker retired, the Lions need a young horse to keep the offense upright, because Penei Sewell can't block everyone. Ioane will be another cornerstone brick wall.
MINNESOTA- AVIEON TERRELL CB, CLEMSON
Like his brother, A.J., Avieon isn't big in stature, but has the knack to make plays and become a ball hawk. This is exactly what the Vikings need on their defense.
BALTIMORE- CALEB LOMU T, UTAH
The other elite offensive lineman from Utah will fill a huge hole in the Ravens' OL as new coach Jesse Minter looks to establish that well-oiled offense with Lamar Jackson under center....or in the Pistol position.
LA RAMS- JORDYN TYSON WR, ARIZONA STATE
With uncertainty on Devante Adams' future and Puka in a major crash out, LA needs an insurance policy for MVP Matthew Stafford and I saw Tyson make incredible catches at ASU.
MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT!
ARIZONA: #21 PICK
PITTSBURGH: 2ND RD PICK, 5TH RD PICK, 3RD RD PICK (2027)
ARIZONA- TY SIMPSON QB, ALABAMA
It was bond to happen, the Cardinals couldn't resist. Dan Orlovsky believes Simpson is better than Fernando Mendoza. Arizona is banking on him being right.
LA CHARGERS- DILLON THIENEMAN CB/S, OREGON
The secondary has been beat up and Derwin James' body is holding up with duct tape. Thieneman can be a difference maker that can switch between corner and safety with ease.
PHILADELPHIA- JACOB RODRIGUEZ LB, TEXAS TECH
I believe this guy is the steal of the draft, and of course the Eagles have to get him. A hard-nosed defender who can add to an already tough Philadelphia defense.
CLEVELAND- KADYN PROCTOR T, ALABAMA
The Browns use their second first-round pick to address offensive line issues and Proctor can be a franchise altering offensive lineman with new coach Todd Monken on board.
CHICAGO (OR NORTHWEST INDIANA)- CASHIUS HOWELL DL, TEXAS A&M
The Bears can finally focus on defense with their first-round pick as they go after a pure pass rusher that can aid a defense who is improving.
BUFFALO- OMAR COOPER JR. WR, INDIANA
New coach Joe Brady needs to add weapons for Josh Allen to survive. Adding one of Fernando Mendoza's weapons at Indiana is a plus.
SAN FRANCISCO- PETER WOODS DL, CLEMSON
With a good abundance of offensive line help in this draft, they can wait and address a defensive line that needs beef and depth.
HOUSTON- MAX IHEANACHOR OL, ARIZONA STATE
The Texans haven't been the same since trading Laremy Tunsil. They will address the offensive line by selecting the Arizona State product.
KANSAS CITY- EMMANUEL PREGNON OL, OREGON
Mahomes' injury should have been a sign that the Chiefs need to fix their interior offensive line. Pregnon should plug that hole.
MIAMI- JERMOD MCCOY CB, TENNESSEE
The Dolphins get a steal in McCoy, who has some concerns due to his ACL injury. Hopefully, Miami gets their shutdown corner.
MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT! MOCK TRADE ALERT!
NEW ENGLAND: AJ BROWN
PHILADELPHIA: #31 PICK, 4TH RD PICK
PHILADELPHIA- DENZEL BOSTON WR, WASHINGTON
ESPN has compared him to Andre Johnson. The Eagles hope that is true after trading AJ Brown to the Patriots.
And finally....
SEATTLE- EMMANUEL MCNEIL-WARREN S, TOLEDO
The champs lost two key members of the secondary during free agency. Selecting EMW can fill one of those holes and start right away.
Well, there you have it, it's not perfect, but that's why they call it a mock draft, right?
