BUFFALO BILLS

Josh Allen had a 2024 to remember, League MVP, a contract extension and a marriage to Hailee Steinfeld. Now, hopefully, 2025 will end with a long-awaited Super Bowl championship in the Bills' final season at Highmark Stadium.

MIAMI DOLPHINS

Imagine being stuck in a mud pit for consecutive years, this is the Miami Dolphins' predicament. The hot seat is getting hotter for coach Mike McDaniel and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as the Fins try to escape that mud pit in 2025.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Out goes Jerod Mayo and in steps Mike Vrabel as head coach while bringing in Stefon Diggs via free agency and draft Will Campbell to help quarterback Drake Maye progress. For the Patriots, they are looking for this season to be full of progress.

NEW YORK JETS

Ugh, another bad tenure led to another overhaul. Former Jets corner Aaron Glenn is the next victim, I mean, next person to help lead the J-E-T-S out of their doldrums. Is Justin Fields the answer at quarterback though?

BALTIMORE RAVENS

The Ravens, and particularly Lamar Jackson, have made the jump to contender status. However, they are close. Can 2025 be the year where the Bird Gang from Baltimore can lift the Lombardi Trophy? There will be obstacles to get there.

CINCINNATI BENGALS

What? Mike Brown decided to stop being Mr. Penny Pincher and tossed the bag to Tee Higgins and JaMarr Chase? So, the Bengals will score 50 points a game......,while the defense gives up 53. At least first-round pick Shemar Stewart finally signed.

CLEVELAND BROWNS

The Browns is the Browns, I guess. Myles Garrett wanted out, then Cleveland decided to throw him the biggest contract in NFL history for a defensive player.....at the time. By the way, who will be the quarterback for this team?

Old Man Elite Joe Flacco

Super Bowl Champion Kenny Pickett

Some lefty from Oregon

Prime Time's Kid

Good luck with that, Browns.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS

This is not your father's Steelers. Pittsburgh made trades to receive DK Metcalf and Jalen Ramsey and signed Aaron Rodgers while giving TJ Watt the biggest contract for a defensive player, this means a Super Bowl contender, right? Well......

HOUSTON TEXANS

Two years into the DeMeco Ryans era and two playoff appearances. Now, it's time for Houston to up their game and become contenders. This is what Cal McNair talked about years ago with everyone's laughter directed toward him. Could it happen this year?

INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

It's desperate times in Indy as the Colts will depend on the quarterback tandem known as A.R. Dimes to lead them....oof. The rest of team looks solid, but can this help them into a playoff berth?

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

The Jaguars pulled the coup of the draft by trading up to get Travis Hunter. Hopefully, this will signify progress for the Duval Football Team. Problem is if this is the final straw for Trevor Lawrence, or will it be a redemption?

TENNESSEE TITANS

A new era begins in Nashville as #1 overall pick Cam Ward tries to lead the Titans to any kind of relevance this season. New GM Mike Borgonzi will use this season as a platform to help improve the team going forward.

DENVER BRONCOS

Well, looks like Sean Payton found his quarterback in Bo Nix, but how will the running game hold up? Can this Broncos team follow up their unexpected playoff berth from last season?

(Side note: Pat Surtain II is the best corner in the league, that DPOY award just proved it.)

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

The Chiefs' three-peat bid was unceremoniously extinguished by the Eagles in the Bayou. KC will be coming for revenge and will try to take their spot as the best team in the AFC. There are some hungry squads that are willing to stop that from happening, though.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

This season, the Raiders have become Seahawks South as Pete Carroll and Geno Smith enter the fray, along with running back Ashton Jeanty from the draft. The Silver and Black are looking for a breakthrough in 2025.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Harbaugh magic has struck again! The Chargers were hapless, but Jim made sure that they were on the right track. Now, can LA's other team break the mold and ascend up the charts in the AFC? Oh, look, Keenan Allen is back!

DALLAS COWBOYS

(Side note: AJ decided to go daddy mode for this team.)

I tried to warn ya, Jerrah is holding back the Cowboys back by waiting on extending players. Micah Parsons is the victim this season. Dallas could sneak into the playoffs if Parsons is locked in financially and if Dakota can play at a high level.

If not, we will see more broken TV's in the Metroplex.

NEW YORK GIANTS

Which Giants team will show up in 2025? Which quarterback will lead them this season? Many questions are on the horizon for the G-Men in what could be Brian Daboll's last stand as head coach if the team doesn't improve.

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

The Eagles ran the narrative and claimed their second Super Bowl title. With most of the key players intact, Philadelphia will be looking to Tush Push or back hurdle their way to another Lombardi Trophy. See what I did there?

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

The Commanders may have found a savior in Jayden Daniels and acquiring Deebo Samuel could give them a boost, but that Terry McLaurin trade request could be a distraction......a HUGE distraction. For their sake, something gets done.

CHICAGO BEARS

Da Bears added a generational coaching prospect in Ben Johnson in hopes to steer Chicago out of the doldrums and hopefully, get Caleb Williams going and blasting off to the potential that everyone sees in him. (RIP VIRGINIA MCCASKEY)

DETROIT LIONS

The Lions ran through the NFL in 2024, only to get stunned by the Commanders in the divisional round. Now, Detroit is ready to do a redo and hopefully, a healthy Aiden Hutchinson could get them over the hump. The time is now for the Lions.

GREEN BAY PACKERS

With Jordan Love locked up on an extension, the Packers will probably build a formable squad for 2025. Could it be a squad that can overtake the rest of the NFC? Not sure, but stranger things have happened.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS

They were an offensive juggernaut with Sam Darnold last season, can the Vikings continue the trend with JJ McCarthy? Also, did they do enough to fix the offensive line problems that plagued them in the Wild Card game?

ATLANTA FALCONS

With a potent offense on paper, the Falcons do have a potent defense that can shock everyone in the NFC and maybe the NFL. Raheem Morris is a man with a keen eye when it comes making defenses work. Should I pencil in a playoff berth for this team?

CAROLINA PANTHERS

The second half of 2024 for the Panthers was a resurgence. Bryce Young looked close to being the #1 pick. Can Carolina continue into 2025 with the momentum and without a certain person meddling, we shall see.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Pick your poison, which Valley prospect does New Orleans go to as their quarterback, Tyler Shough (Hamilton High) or Spencer Rattler (Pinnacle High)? New head coach Kellen Moore has his work cut out for him.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

The Bucs have been.....a well-oiled machine in the last two years. Baker Mayfield has found a home, and the rest of the team are a shoo-in for the playoffs. The question is, can the Bucs venture long in the postseason?

ARIZONA CARDINALS

Well, Kyler Murray gets another season, and hopefully, some improvement with him and MHJ. The depth is young and hungry. With the rest of the division getting older or losing their talent, can the Cardinals escape with a NFC West title?

LOS ANGELES RAMS

Aaron Donald retired, but that didn't mean the Rams defense followed suit. Jared Verse won DROY and hopefully, the offense, especially a rejuvenated Matthew Stafford can lead LA to another long playoff run?

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

It happened, Perry HS graduate Brock Purdy secured the bag that he sought, but the Niners let go of a lot of talent, and Juwan Jennings wants an extension......and hopefully CMC comes back fully healthy. A lot of questions in Santa Clara.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

The renovation of the Hawks continues as DK Metcalf and Geno Smith are gone and Sam Darnold is here as the starting quarterback.....but what type of team is he inheriting? I see a youthful and overachieving squad.

So, there is the preview for 2025. Some teams can surprise and some can falter into despair. The road to Santa Clara begins here.
