I'm going to make this quick since there has been no decision made so far, but three futures are hanging in the balance due to one man.

What really did you expect from Lane Kiffin? Did you expect a straight answer and a seamless explanation from him? He has moved his meeting twice from Saturday to supposedly 2pm eastern today. This is a guy that is deliberately turned something so simple into a spectacle. Remember when he bolted Tennessee for USC after only one season? Apparently, he hasn't learned a thing. Maybe that reporter was right in calling him a hoe. What's he going to do, confront me about that face-to-face? Some things will never change.

If you're Ole Miss, you just had one of the most successful tenure in program history and your head coach was probably stargazing this entire time. Even reporters and analysts would point out that Kiffin could be in line for a position at a more prestigious school despite being successful in the toughest conference in the land, the SEC. Hopefully, if Kiffin takes off for Baton Rouge, they can find someone who can maintain that success and want to stay there for the long run.

If you're LSU, you also haven't learned a thing. After trying to weasel your way out of not paying Brian Kelly, you decided to toss even more money at Lane Kiffin. We in the sports business call this desperation. A part of me wants karma to strike down after that whole keeping Les Miles around despite him allegedly being a creep ordeal. Hopefully, they can find a loophole into not paying him the guaranteed money if this tenure fails.

(I'm about to go off script)

Also, this is for the governor of Louisiana, Jeff Landry. According to a list conducted by US News & World Report regarding the best states in the nation, Louisiana was ranked 50th, as in dead last. Congratulations, your state has the title for WORST STATE IN THE NATION. Instead of being in the search of finding the next head coach for LSU, you can, I don't know, GOVERN THE STATE RANKED LAST! Priorities be damned here.

So, as I close this, there hasn't been a formal announcement yet even though many sources have him headed to LSU and his Ole Miss staff will stranded.

With all of that money, he can buy himself some class and gasoline for the bridge that you are about to burn.
